If you love cheese (and truly, who doesn’t?), then you understand the crucial need for a fool-proof, quality cheese slicer. (Cutting cheese with a knife is the pits.)

There are all sorts out there on the market, but is one better than the other?

I went to a favorite site, www.bestreviews.com, to find the answer to this question. BestReviews, by the way, spends thousands of hours per product, testing and considering expert guidance and consumer feedback; and they NEVER accept free products from manufacturers (which means their conclusions are 100% unbiased—they owe nothin’ to no one!).

Of all the cheese slicers on the market, only 5 made the BestReviews cut. Here for your cheesy dining pleasure, are their findings. So WHY do we want a high-quality cheese slicer, anyway? Consistency and options. A really good slicer safely gives a consistent cut (without straining your hand, wrist, elbow, brain…). And a really good slicer allows you to slice the cheese according to YOUR preferred thickness or thinness. It all boils down to achieving uniform cheese slices (which boils down to a much prettier presentation, as well). Yay!
