Zion Noodle and Pizza Company
Our most recent National Park visit was definitely a new favorite for my kids- Zion National Park! My husband and I have visited this beautiful place more than once, but this was the first time my children got to experience the beauty and grandeur that is Zion.
Of course, another thing that helped add to that wonderful experience was good food!
We’ve kind of unintentionally made it a tradition to find a local pizza place and try their unique offerings. Not every pizza place is created equal, and even within a specific restaurant there is usually great, and not so great options. I love sampling several flavors to see what’s really good!
As the name suggests, Zion Noodle and Pizza Company offers several kinds of pizzas, pastas, calzones, and a few salads. We opted to get several different pizzas to try- because it’s the best way to feed 8 people, and pizza makes such great leftovers for the next day!
Here are the various pizzas we tried:
The White Sun- Garlic infused Olive Oil, Spinach, Pineapple, Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, cheddar & Parmesan cheeses. I thought this one was ok. Not crazy flavorful, but still good.
BBQ Chicken Pizza- House tomato sauce, BBQ grilled chicken, red onions, cilantro, with gouda, mozzarella & cheddar cheeses. I actually didn’t really like this one- which isn’t surprising considering I don’t love tomato sauce ;). I couldn’t taste any of the BBQ flavor! However, my son really liked this one.
Rosemary Garlic Pizza- No sauce - garlic & fresh rosemary, with asiago, parmesan, mozzarella, feta & cheddar cheeses. This one was quite good! It was definitely a favorite among my kids as well- which makes sense, because it’s basically fancy cheese bread ;).
Thai Chicken Pizza- Sweet Peanut Thai sauce - fresh grilled chicken, thin carrots, red onions, sesame seeds, asiago, mozzarella, cheddar & parmesan cheeses. This one was great! If you love Thai food, that is ;). I personally love peanut sauce and Thai and this pizza was absolutely amazing!
The Special that night was a Pesto Pizza- it had pesto sauce, mushrooms, canadian bacon, feta cheese, provolone, and maybe something else??? I’m glad we were able to be here for this special because this was probably my favorite! A great flavor combination all around.
We ordered a basic pepperoni and pineapple pizza for the kids (and my husband ;) ) and they loved it! The pepperoni was super tasty, and my husband couldn’t say enough good things about the crust! Don’t you just love the fun shape they give the pizzas? Like a giant flower!
We also had an order of their cheesy garlic bread and their Angel Fire bread.
The cheesy garlic bread was really good! Super cheesy, very flavorful, and the crust is just amazing! My picture is blurry and most of the cheese bread was gone by this point, but it gives you an idea for just how deliciously cheesy this was!
My favorite thing from the whole meal was the Angel Fire bread.
A thin layer of cream cheese, mozzarella cheese (and maybe asiago??), a drizzle of hot sauce (I think it was Frank’s Red Hot Sauce) and a drizzle of honey. It was SO GOOD. Like, stupid good. I couldn't stop eating it, and even my kids were into it! Luckily, I think this would be a flavor combo you could pretty easily recreate at home! And I absolutely plan to!! If you only ordered one thing from this place, this definitely needs to be it!
Overall, this was definitely a tasty stop and a place we would visit again! And with how much we left undone at Zion’s, we’ll definitely be back!
