The 5 Must-Have Pampered Chef Kitchen Tools
My mom has me hooked on Pampered Chef kitchen tools. I was gifted a couple for my wedding 15 years ago and they are all still working just as beautifully as the day I got them. Pampered Chef is known for their quality items that are great for novice cooks and experienced chefs alike.
I know we aren’t looking for any extra junky kitchen tools that are just bound to get donated one day because they are taking up extra room in the kitchen and you hardly ever use them. This is not the case for these five items from Pampered Chef. I polled my mom and sisters and shared the five Pampered Chef tools that we love and think are kitchen must-haves. I believe these 5 items are really worth the ticket price and will last you for years!
My mom thought that you have to attend a “Pampered Chef Party” to get these kitchen tools, since this company is set up like an MLM--think of a Tupperware party and you’ve got it. However, I did find that this is somewhat inaccurate. You can buy most of these items from Pampered Chef's Amazon page, no party necessary. But if you want the full range of all the Pampered Chef products to purchase, you would probably have to find someone who sells it near you. Of course on Amazon you can find knock-off items of these Pampered Chef products that you could try to save a a few bucks, but you might be taking a bit of a risk that they won’t be as made as durable and last you as long as the real deal.
1. Small Brownie Spatula
I have had their little “mini serving spatula” for 15 years and it is truly the ultimate little spatula to serve brownies, sheet cakes, etc. It even works beautifully for small portion sized amounts that are perfect for your little kids to get a piece of lasagna or something similar. It so strong with it’s beveled edge that it is also great at breaking up frozen ground beef as you cook it in a stainless steel pan. It is surprisingly versatile with it’s 3 ½” stainless steel beveled edge blade.
2. Garlic Press
Their garlic press really is just the very best. I’ve had mine for over 10 years and we are huge fans of garlic in this family, so it is has really gotten tons of time to shine and be loved. I like to throw in a garlic clove with the skin still on and give it a little press. That breaks the skin and loosens it up so you can easily peel if off. Then you can put the peeled garlic clove in and it quickly minces with you ever touching the garlic. You can then use their handy tool cleaner to easily remove all the minced bits without ever touching them. You can quickly and easily mince many cloves of garlic (even big ones) without your hands smelling like garlic.
3. Lasagna/Casserole Sapula
Their “Large Serving Spatula” is also another of my mom’s favorites that I need to purchase myself soon. We served lasagna one evening to our large group of 42 and this spatula easy portioned out and served all those divine pieces. It is great for hearty servings of lasagna and other casseroles, crisp pizza, and rich cakes. It has a 5” beveled-edge stainless steel blade.
4. Mix ‘N Chop (Hamburger Masher/Chopper)
This is a tool that has pinwheel shaped blades that make it really easy to chop and finely crumble foods like ground beef, turkey, and sausage. You can also use to to mash up avocados really quickly for guacamole, or bananas for banana bread. You can also use it to crush tomatoes for a chunky tomato sauce. It is made of really durable nylon and is safe for all pans.
5. Cup Slicer
This is a little device that slices fruits and veggies and stores them in the cup as you work. You place the food you want to slice on a cutting board, and place the cup slicer right over it, which has five stainless steel blades, and press down and it slices the food and stores it in the cup. It is great for parents to slice up foods for your young ones that they eat often like strawberries, bananas, and avocados. It is of course great for adults as well for making salads and other meals to slice mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, olives, etc. It would make slicing up strawberries for a dessert like strawberry shortcake a breeze!
