Seven Layer Dip is Not the Only Good Thing With Seven….
Seven is a good number for so many things.
There’s the classic, delicious, seven layer dip that everyone knows and loves.
And some of the tastiest foods have seven letters:
I mean, that’s a pretty decent list of awesomeness right there. But there’s a bunch of other wonderful things that come in sets of seven as well….
Hmmm… Seven children.

If you haven’t guessed already, we’re expecting baby number 7! Baby Boy Hoffmann is due December 6 and we are so thrilled to have him join our family!

2 avocados avocados - peeled pitted and diced
1/4 cup cilantro chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup salsa salsa
1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt garlic salt
black pepper ground black pepper to taste
1 sour cream (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 package taco seasoning mix (1 ounce) taco seasoning mix
1 can refried beans (16 ounce) refried beans
4 tomatoes roma (plum) tomatoes diced
1 bunch green onions green onions finely chopped
2 cups cheese shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
1 can olives (2.25 ounce) black olives - drained and finely chopped

Seven-Layer Dip
This 7-layer dip is a great make-ahead party appetizer made with layers of refried beans, taco-seasoned sour cream, guacamole, veggies, and cheese. Recipe Type: Appetizer, Snack Total Time: 20 min

Mash avocados in a medium bowl to desired consistency. Mix in cilantro, salsa, lime juice, garlic salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Blend sour cream and taco seasoning in a small bowl until combined. Set aside.
Spread refried beans in a 9x13-inch dish or on a large serving platter. Top with sour cream mixture; cover with guacamole. Top with tomatoes, green onions, Mexican-style cheese blend, and black olives.
