Check Out the Last 3 Cookbooks that Cook'n Users Printed

I noticed that the last three cookbooks that Cook'n users printed look AMAZING!

I was so impressed that I asked the authors if I could write an article about their cookbooks and showcase them in the next Cook'n Newsletter. All three said "YES!"

Brenda Williamson from Pennsylvania printed several copies of her cookbook. She said:

"I've wanted to do it for years and what started as a Christmas cookbook featuring holiday recipes morphed significantly. The encouragement now was my granddaughter getting married and wanting a shower gift to encourage the annual tradition of our cookie day.

I received the cookbooks exactly when you said I would. It was a bit nerve wracking and exciting all at once! The quality is spectacular! The thick pages, the fun themes to work with, the binding, the color, etc. etc. There are a few things I would choose to do different if I did another one but I'm pleased and overjoyed with myself and with the ease of completing and the exceptional quality.

Check out this cover. Doesn't this look fun!!

I thought the font style and font size that she chose was really cute too. Check out the Table of Contents

She added a family photo to every chapter header. And, she alternated between the Sun Flower and the Tulips theme. Some chapters are themed one way and some are themed the other. The family photo added such a precious, personal touch! What a great memory book this is!

Most of her recipes have food photos like this...

Some recipes do not have food photos. As a result, she was able to fit many recipes on one page. For example...

In addition to looking really cute, the book is super functional too. The Index with page numbers makes it easy to find the recipe you are looking for.

Michelle McKendry from Colorado printed 22 copies of her cookbook. She said:

"We just had my mom’s celebration of life service Saturday, August 10th. I gave my family members the cookbooks you did for me. They were a great hit! I received so many thank yous and nice comments! It seemed to be a very sentimental, lasting memory of my mom.

Also, I have had two of my friends mention what a great idea it was and that they had all their mom’s recipes and wanted to do something with them. I volunteered to help them get started with your great app for a Fall project.

Thank you again for producing such a lovely book and for your great customer care you provided … I think customer care is a step beyond customer service and every person I worked with in your company did a great job!

Best wishes for much success :)

Michelle"

Now, everybody will have Grandma Joan's favorite recipes! Yay!!

I like the way she included the recipe names in the Table of Contents. I think this looks very nice.

Instead of food photos, she added family photos to each of her recipes.

In some cases, she included a copy of the original, handwritten recipe.

I like the directions with this recipe:

Grandma left us with no directions on this one...good luck!
But, do grease the pans.
At first I thought this was Dad's handwriting but it's moms...funny how that happens!

I have a feeling this cookbook is going to be one of the most treasured gifts of them all! Way to go, Michelle!! Now all the kids and grandkids will have Grandma Joan's Favorite Recipes and photos forever to keep the traditions alive!

Finally, James Ranck from South Carolina printed 10 copies of the following cookbook. Now, everybody will have access to Marlene Ranck's Recipe Box! Woohoo!!

Just like Michelle, James also chose the option to print the recipe names in the Table of Contents

And, just like Brenda, James also added a family photo to every chapter header. Instead of alternating themes, James used a different theme for every chapter. I think this looks REALLY cool! Don't you?

This cookbook looks GREAT, James! Way to go!! What a wonderful and memorable gift this is going to be!

The question is...what is your cookbook going to look like? The holidays are right around the corner so this is the perfect time to start. It's a great gift idea and it's so affordable too! For example...

  • Michelle's 52 page cookbooks cost only $29.45 each. That's only $.56 per page which is crazy cheap for a full color print; especially when you consider that the book is professionally bound with a hard cover!

  • James' 94 page cookbooks cost only $38.60 each. That's only $.41 per page.

  • Brenda's very large, 216 page cookbooks cost only $60 each. That's only $.28 per page!

As you can see, the price varies depending on how many pages are in your cookbook and how many copies you print. The more copies you print, the lower the price.

With this being the case, you can totally customize your cookbook to make it affordable for you!

Now that you have your recipes entered into your Cook'n app, it's easy to print a family cookbook. Just click a button and Cook'n will do the rest!

The Cook'n Elves will print your book on high quality gloss paper, bind it with a professional binding, and ship it right to your front door! You can choose between a hard or soft cover. Here are a couple videos that Kathy and I made showing how easy it is to print your own cookbook.

I hope those videos were helpful. What do you think? Are you ready to print your family cookbook?
