8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded (2 cups)
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 tablespoons port wine
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Crackers and fresh fruit

In a small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cheese, butter or margarine and wine until well blended and fluffy.
At low speed, beat in nuts. Pack into a crock or a glass jar. Cover and chill.
Remove from refrigerator about 1 hour before serving with crackers and fruit.
