Chicken Olé |

2 pounds chicken thighs and leg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup almonds slivered toasted
1 green bell pepper large, minced
1 cup onions chopped
1/4 cup water
1 garlic medium clove, minced
1 15 1/2-ounce can chili con carne with beans
2 teaspoons unsweetened baking chocolate grated
Generous dash of ground cloves and cinnamon

Heat oven to 350° F. In skillet, brown chicken in oil. Remove chicken from skillet. Pour off excess fat; add almonds, green pepper, onion, water, and garlic. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remainder of ingredients. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook an additional 50 to 60 minutes in oven.
