Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, stir together cake mix, egg, water and pumpkin pie spice until well blended. Stir in oats and raisins, chocolate chips or nuts until blended.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies on a wire rack. Best eaten the same day. Freeze leftovers.
