Ham And Chicken Paté |

1 1/2 cups chicken cubed cooked
1 cup ham cubed cooked
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon thyme dried, crushed
1/4 teaspoon marjoram ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash black pepper freshly ground
1 or 2 bay leaves (optional)
Crackers or cocktail bread

Place chicken and ham in a food processor bowl; cover and process until minced, about 8 seconds.
Add butter or margarine, thyme, marjoram, salt and pepper. Process until well blended, about 3 seconds. Taste for additional salt and pepper.
Place optional bay leaf in bottom of a small crock or glass jar. Spoon in mixture and smooth top. Cover and chill.
Remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving with crackers or bread.
