Preheat oven to 325°. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown chops on both sides remove from skillet and set aside.
In same skillet, brown sausage drain well and set aside. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings from skillet.
In same skillet, sauté mushrooms, onions and celery for 3 minutes. Add wine or bouillon. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in bread, apple and sausage. Place half of the mixture in a 2-quart shallow casserole with lid. Arrange pork chops over mixture. Top with remaining stuffing. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender.
