Oranges and peaches may be chopped in a food processor or put through a food grinder, using the coarse blade. Measure fruits and add 1 1/4 times as much sugar as fruit. Bring to a boil simmer until sufficiently thickened. (Time will vary with juiciness of fruit.) Add cherries and optional nuts heat to boiling. Seal in hot sterilized jars according to manufacturer's instructions.
