This dish provides an unusual sweet gravy which I'm sure you will like. After trying this dish we added it to our menu and have it once a month. Be sure to get the meat quite brown since when you simmer the meat in the apple juice some of the color will fade. We always have mashed potatoes with this dish so that we can enjoy the gravy. You can use any kind of pork chop or pork loin. We have used boneless center cut pork chops in the photo.
When you cook the carrots for the orange glazed carrots add 2 to 3 extra for the minestrone soup for later in the week. After the carrots cook remove 1 1/2 cups of carrots and place in airtight container in the refrigerator to be used for the soup.
