French Onion Soup


Serves: 6

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds white onions, sliced
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 quarts low salt beef stock base
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

Sauté the onions in the olive oil over low heat until translucent and golden. Slowly blend in the beef stock, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
