Cut the onion, cucumbers, and celery into very thin slices. Toss with the salt in a bowl and set aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the ranch dressing, marmalade, and vinegar in a serving bowl and set aside.
Drain the vegetables and rinse. Dump into a clean kitchen towel wring out any excess liquid. Add the vegetables and watermelon to the dressing and toss well to coat. Chill, if desired, before serving.
