Grandma's Peanut Butter Fudge
My Grandma Ellie lives on 123 acres in rural country West Virginia. Our family moved away from West Virginia when I was small, so we haven’t had a lot of opportunities to spend the holidays with my grandma. Despite the distance between us, my grandma has tried to make Christmas time a special time for all of us. She always sends us a Christmas card with some money for presents and she often sends my mom a box of her homemade peanut butter fudge. Thankfully my mom is willing to share and I always look forward to this tasty treat!
Ingredients:
4 cups | sugar |
1/2 cup | butter |
1 (12-ounce) can | Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk |
1 teaspoon | vanilla extract |
1 (7-ounce) jar | Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme |
1 cup | Jif Creamy Peanut Butter |
Directions:
Grease a 9x13 baking dish. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for at least 12 minutes. Take off of heat and quickly add marshmallow creme and peanut butter. Beat fast until well blended. Pour into buttered pan. When cool enough, cut into squares.
