On a trip to the Dominican Republic back in 2014, my nephew Apollo (right) gave his shoes to this boy at church.









That little boy just signed with the Oakland A's professional baseball team! Yay!! You never know what could happen when you touch the life of another with goodness. (FYI...Apollo is now serving a 2 year mission for the church in Chihuahua, Mexico).








My sister's boy, Brendan Capozzoli, just got his two-year mission call the other day. The Lord could have sent him anywhere in the world but my sister was kinda hoping he would go to Italy since her last name is Capozzoli. Well, what do you think? Does she look happy? :)









My boy, Carson, is expecting to get his mission call sometime in the next couple weeks. Kathy and I are...anxious. We are happy he decided to serve the Lord and share the gospel message for the next two years...but we're gonna miss that boy LIKE CRAZY!!!







As you can see in this video, Carson is such a character! I snuck this video a couple Sundays ago while the kids were just chatting in the family room before Kathy served an amazing dinner. That Carson is such a great kid. We're gonna miss him so much! I don't think we will be as happy as the Capozzoli's when Carson opens his mission call. In fact, don't be surprised if Kathy starts crying! :)
