Mock Wild Rice

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2/3 cup white rice raw
2/3 cup spaghetti 1/2 -inch pieces thin
1 tablespoon margarine
2 3/4 cups beef broth
1/4 cup onion minced
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons parsley minced fresh

Directions:

In a large skillet heat oil add rice and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add spaghetti and margarine and stir-fry until browned. Remove from heat stir in beef broth, onion, and garlic powder return to heat and bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat simmer for 15 to 18 minutes or until moisture is absorbed and rice is tender. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving.
