Preheat oven to 375°. Lightly grease baking sheets.
In a medium bowl, stir flour, baking soda and salt set aside.
In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter or margarine until light and fluffy. Add eggsand vanilla, beating well. Gradually blend in dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Stir in candy. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until very light golden brown. Immediately remove cookies from baking sheets and cool on wire racks.
