Crush cookies and mix 4 cups crumbs with melted butter and toasted almonds. Reserve a few almonds and a small amount of cookie crumbs for topping. Place crumb mixture in a 10-inch springform pan and pat. Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes or until mixture forms a crust. Cool.
Fill crust with ice cream, layering flavors. Sprinkle top with reserved crumbs and almonds and freeze solid. Make a chocolate sauce by melting the chocolate chips over low heat. Add cream to thin, then stir in liqueur. Serve cake with drizzled chocolate sauce over each slice.
