Make a List
Use your Cook'n software to prepare a thorough grocery list that will include many meals at once.
When the list is complete ask yourself what obstacles this list points out: do you need a simpler lasagna recipe? is there a quicker way to make your favorite stew? or can one dish actually be used in two meals? Go through your list and simplify. Would using frozen and canned foods like canned tomatoes and frozen broccoli make the meals easier to prepare? Creating your list will make your weekly trip to the grocery store more effective.
Instead of having to go to the grocery store each day, take that time to scrub your shower which has been calling your name, or spend some extra time with your kids. By setting aside time to plan weekly menus you can avoid making those last minute trips to the grocery store and relax knowing that your kitchen is well stocked with yummy foods for healthy meals.
