Cook'n to the Rescue
Dan,
Sure appreciate your emails. We are having a retirement party for our DOA at TxDOT from 15 yrs service. I have been ask to provide "finger foods". Do you have any suggestions? I am suppose to bring to the retirement party committee some suggestions. Sure appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks...
Mary Parkey
Hi Mary,
Everyone loves chicken wings. They are finger food, but you'll need to have some wet-wipes handy. Chips with salsa or the 7-layer dip is fabulous! Just scoop on a little plate and dig in with chips. Glazed almonds, some
type of unique popcorn (pizza, taco, or sweet).
Blue Cheese Bites
1 8-oz can buttermilk biscuits, cut into quarters Grease 2 8-inch round cake or pie pans. Put biscuits in pan touching each other. Melt 1/4 cup butter and 3 tbsp blue cheese. Pour over biscuits. Coat well. Bake at 400-degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Serve hot.
Here's a few ideas. Let me know if you need recipes.
