When do you Clean the Kitchen?

After the meal is over and everyone starts moving to the family room to watch the big game or visit or whatever, my mom would always take a few minutes to clear the table and clean up in the kitchen.

Sometimes when she and/or my sisters come to visit and they try to help, my wife Kathy always tells them not to worry about it...that she'll get it later. She insists that they come relax with everyone else.

I'm curious to know when the rest of you clean up. Do you usually clean the kitchen after the meal or the next morning?
