Categorize Your Recipes
Dan came down with a bad case of pneumonia last week and is unable to write the Cook'n Tip in this month's issue of the HomeCook'n Newlsetter. He is recovering now and feels much better but he asked me to write this month's Cook'n Tip.
Finding the right recipe can be even easier with Cook'n's Category option. Normally, if you are looking for a cookie recipe, you would need to browse through all the different cookbooks in your list. However, if you have created a cookie category, you can simply click on your Cookie category and all of the cookie recipes would be displayed in your recipe list.
The first step is to create the categories that would be useful for you. Here are some ideas:
Family Favorites
Sunday Dinners
To Try
Chicken Recipes
Favorite Desserts
Salads
Snacks
The Categories List is below the Recipes List in the bookshelf window. Just click on the "new" button above that window to create a new category. Fill in the name of the category you'd like and click on "Save" and then "Close". Once you have the desired categories in your list, to categorize your recipes simply drag and drop the recipe from its current chapter into as many categories as you'd like. Once your recipes are categorized, to find a particular recipe, all you do is click on the category and the recipes will be displayed above, in the Recipes List!
