Make your own Happy Meals
Who says you need McDonalds to have a Happy Meal? It’s fun and easy to make your own.
What you’ll need:
- Package of brown lunch bags
- Arts & craft supplies (crayons, stickers, markers, sparkles)
- Small toys (pencils, eraser, dollar store toys)
- Meal itself (grilled cheese, hamburger, hotdog, chicken strips, fries, drink)
On a rainy day when the kids don't have anything to do, supply them with brown paper lunch bags (available in the grocery store) and ask them to decorate them for a "surprise.”
When you decide to serve happy meals, simply cook the meal (wrap in wax paper if needed) and place in the bag with a small toy. Serve the drink in a re-useable drink box container, or in a glass with a straw. If you have fries, you can even include an extra packet of ketchup from a previous fast food visit.
These are also great for serving when your kids have friends over! You can top it off with a visit to the local playground for playtime too!
