1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup olive oil
2 pounds beef stew meat
1 small bag baby carrots
5 potatoes peeled and quartered
1 chopped onion (optional)
1 tablespoon garlic
1 small bag frozen corn
1 small bag frozen green beans
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup brown gravy mix
1 1/2 teaspoons basil
1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary
Throw olive oil, meat and flour in a large pot (that can also go into the oven) and brown meat. Add everything else and cover completely with water. Cover and bake on 350 til meat is tender (about 3-4 hours). If lid does not fit tight you may want to add a little water every hour or so.
