In upstate NY we have salt potatoes. They are small new potatoes cooked with extra salt and served with melted butter.

Corn on the Cob , I guess is my favorite vegetable side dish, but canloupe is my favorite fruit dish.

Potato salad is not just for barbecue. It is the perfect side dish for almost any occasion like picnics, holiday family get togethers, when your wife is out of town and you fix your own meals, etc.

My daughter, Jill and I came up with a wonderful pasta salad recipe several years ago, before she married and left home. We included lots of our favorite ingredients and we came up with a winner that is now a "MUST HAVE" at all of our summer get togethers!! It is just soooo YUMMY!
