Laundry Quandary
Hi There,
First off I just want to let you know how much I enjoy the newsletters and the little videos of Dan and Kathy. They are so cute and the recipes are great! My question is, I'd love to try and make this soap powder recipe but where do you find Fels-Naptha soap? Thank You and Have A BLESSED and Happy Easter.

Debbie,
Thanks for your interest in the homemade laundry soap. I am not sure where you live and that might make the difference where you might find these products. For instance, I bought Fels-Naptha at Albertsons and paid 1.59 a bar. I then went to Ace Hardware and bought it for 1.29. I then went to Macys grocery store and bought it for a 1.09.
Ace hardware is always happy to order it in for you if they don't carry it. This is also true with many grocery stores.
All of the products in this soap are just super! My daughter who lives in Arizona fights the hard to get out red dirt that Arizona is famous for. She made and tried this soap. Her husband said "Honey, how did you get my white shirts so white"?
I am kind of a laundry freak. I love to do everything but put the stuff away. If you have blood to get out use some liquid peroxide before washing, apply directly on the stain. If you have ink stains spray the ink stain with hairspray before washing. If your collars and cuffs are really dirty use a Fels-Naptha bar directly on the collar and cuffs and then wash. You will love the smell of your towels when they come out of the dryer.
Best Wishes,
Jeanne
