I made some of the most amazing beef jerky the other day. It came out soooooooo good! It was literally the best beef jerky I've ever tasted. When I finished making it at 10:00 pm, I tried some and I couldn't stop eating it!

I was thinking to myself "I shouldn't eat this right before going to bed!" But then I would think to myself "just one last piece..." It was AMAZING!

When I showed Kathy the new Cook'n Family Plan, she said "I don't get it."

What if I'm a subscriber already? Can I sign up for the Family Plan?

Yes! Simply click here and choose between Basic, Standard, or Premium Family Plan.

How much does it cost?

If you are a Premium Annual subscriber already ($149.95), you will only be charged the difference. So, for only $40 more, you will get 4 more Premium Annual Memberships that you can give away to family & friends.

What if I'm a Standard Annual subscriber already?

If you are a Standard Annual subscriber already (paying $99.95), you will only be charged the difference. So, for only $40 more, you will get 4 more Standard Annual Memberships that you can give away to family & friends. That's only $10 each! You can give a Standard Annual membership worth $99.95 to a family or friend and it will only cost $10!

What if I am NOT a subscriber yet?

You can get 1 Membership for $49 (Basic), $99 (Standard), or $149 (Premium).

OR

You can get 5 Memberships for $89 (Basic), $139 (Standard), or $189 (Premium) and save 65% to 75% per membership!

You can gift the extra four memberships. Or, even better, you can split the total cost with four friends.

For example, if you sign up for the Premium Family Plan for $189 and split the cost between you and four family members, each person only has to pay $37.80 per year. That's only $3.15 per month for a Premium Annual Membership!

If you sign up for the Basic Family Plan for $89 and split the cost between you and four friends, each person only has to pay $17.99 per year. That's only $1.49 per month for a Basic Annual Membership!

What happens at the end of the year? Do my four friends have to pay the regular price?

No. If you sign up today for $89.95 then your account, with all 5 memberships, will automatically renew next year at the $89.95 price. Lock in this amazing price before it goes up!

Suzanne asked "What happens at the renew point next year? How does the pricing go. I could pay for the additional upgrade cost for my kids but they are young and paying for school and new babies so they would be able to incur the additional $149 each year not could I. I don’t want to get their hope up (cause they all know mama loves her cookn app, (since I used to call support and get you on the phone, lol) so if you could clarify it would be so helpful."

When it comes time to renew your membership next year, your kids will NOT have to pay anything.  Instead, your membership will simply auto-renew for $189.95 and your kids can continue to enjoy Premium member benefits for free!

What if I give one of the four memberships to someone who doesn't use it?

You can give the four extra memberships to anyone you like. And, you can change anytime you like. So, let's say you give one of the four memberships to your son but he never uses the service. You can go in and change it to someone else anytime you like. It's totally up to you!

Does everyone access the same account?

No. Each person will have their own account.

FYI...the original question was: "I was also wondering what it means when you say “on one account”. Does that mean my children will be adding and deleting recipes or whatever on my account, or potentially?? Or are they going to have their own login and accounts and get and collect their own recipes and cook books??

They will each have their own account with their own login and they can get and collect their own recipes and cookbooks. They will have full member benefits as if they paid $149.95 to sign up for their own personal Premium Annual Membership Plan.

Do they get to have cookbooks each month as well? Is it like a premium account?

Yes and Yes.

Are they limited on Captures?

No. If you have a Premium membership and you upgrade to the Premium Family Plan, everyone will get unlimited Captures & Scans.

Does the Family Plan also work if I just want to add 1 family member for $10...So for my Standard membership I would then upgrade to a Family Plan and pay $109.95 per year?

No. When you upgrade to the Family Plan, you get 4 extra accounts. So, in your case, since you already have a Standard membership, you can upgrade to the Family Plan for $40 more and you will get 4 extra accounts that you can give away.

What if I only have two daughters?

Great question! Give 2 of the 4 memberships to your two daughters and give the other 2 away to a friend or a neighbor or someone in your church group. Think about it...it only costs $10 (less than the cost of a meal at McDonalds) and they get to use it all year long! It's a fantastic, affordable gift!

What if I need 5 extra accounts instead of 4?

Caren says: "This family plan is awesome, the problem is that I have 5 daughters in laws so I am not sure how to choose. Does there happen to be an add one more option? I have been with Cook’n from the very beginning and have seen all the growth and it has been amazing to watch you and your family grow. Thank you for making such a great product! Well, you'll just have to choose which of your five daughter-in-laws you like least and leave her out.

Haha...just kidding. As if, right?! Haha.

Unfortunately, with the current interface, there is not a way to add just one more user to a family plan. But, since you have been such a valued customer all these years, I will be happy to gift you one more subscription.

When you sign up for the Family Plan, please send me the email address for the 5th daughter-in-law and I will add member benefits for her for free.

How do I add 4 other people to my account?

When you sign up for the Family Plan, you will receive a welcome email with a message that says "Click here to add members to your Family Plan." When you click that link, you will see a screen like this:


At this point, you can enter the name or email address of your family member or friend and click the Search button and you will see a screen like this:


Then, simply click the "Add" button to add that person to your account.

Just keep in mind that the recipient must create a free Cook'n Cloud account first! So, simply tell your family member or friend to go to www.dvo.com to download the Cook'n app and create a Cook'n Cloud account and then you will be able to give them full member benefits here.

When will the Family Plan be available?

Chuck says "Back in September, Dan wrote about the Family Plan that would soon be offered. My premium subscription (actually purchased for my wife Donna) expires on Dec 01 and I'd like to upgrade to the Premium Family Plan for $189.99 as described in Dan's September email so that my wife can share her cookbooks with her sisters. If this plan is now available, please upgrade me upon my renewal date of Dec 01 and charge the MasterCard you have on file for my renewal (I just updated it).. By the way, my wife absolutely LOVES Cook'n!"
