Why?

A few months ago, I received the following message from Cook'n customer who we will call William (not his real name). William said:

Is there any way to gift your app to someone without them knowing where it came from? I got an invite to be a friend from someone in the hospital. They say they have been there for 5 months and have 4 or 5 months to go. They are using the free version and I wish to get them the premium. Is this possible?

Can you imagine this? William wanted to spend $149.95 to purchase a Cook'n Premium Membership Plan for another Cook'n user; somebody that he didn't even know!

The Cook'n user who was in the hospital said that he loves Cook'n and he said that using Cook'n distracted him from the pain. We ended up gifting a Premium Membership to that person so William didn't have to.

But, we were so touched by William's generosity and Christ-like charity and willingness to do this that, when we talked about this as a team, the Cook'n Elves came up with the idea for the Cook'n Family Plan.

And?

The other inspiration behind the creation of the Cook'n Family Plan is the experience that I have had with my family.

As you know, I created Cook'n 32 years ago and among my own family members...in all these years...there has never been as much interest in using Cook'n as there is now!

My wife Kathy and my sister Kim have always used Cook'n. But, just this year, my daughter-in-law Cecilia started using Cook'n regularly. My brother Brian started using Cook'n. My daughter Brennah started using Cook'n. My daughter-in-law Makenzie, my sons Jackson and Danny, my niece Azure, and several other family members all started using Cook'n and LOVING IT!

They're posting "I Made This" recipes and getting 'Likes' and advancing on the Leaderboards and we're all having a BLAST with Cook'n! We're using the Cook'n with Alexa Skill to cook hands-free in the kitchen and we LOVE it!

A Premium Annual Membership for 5 people would normally cost $750 (5 people X $149.95 each == $750). But, with the new Premium Family Plan, you can get a Premium Annual Membership for FIVE people for only $189.95 per year. That's a savings of $560!

Another way to look at it is this:

A Basic Annual Membership for 1 person costs $49.95 but for only $40 more, you can get a Basic Annual Membership for FOUR MORE people!

A Standard Annual Membership for 1 person costs $99.95 but for only $40 more, you can get a Standard Annual Membership for FOUR MORE people!

A Premium Annual Membership for 1 person costs $149.95 but for only $40 more, you can get an Annual Premium Membership Plan for FOUR MORE people!

How Does it Work?

It's simple. When we go live with this new Membership Plan, if you are not a member, you can sign up for the Cook'n Family Plan OR if you are already a subscriber, you can simply upgrade your existing membership to the Cook'n Family Plan.

When you do this, you will be able to enter the email addresses of FOUR more people. Those people will receive a free membership!

You can then have those family members pay you a small amount of money to cover the extra cost. Or, you can simply gift them the membership.

Wow! What a great Christmas gift idea! Now you can give the benefits of Cook'n to your whole family! Now you can start sharing recipes with your family and friends and you can start 'Liking' each other's recipes and having fun competing on the Cook'n Leaderboards!
