1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
Hot cooked noodles or rice, if desired
1. Cook beef, onion and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
2. Stir soup, mushrooms and salt into beef. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes; reduce heat to low.
3. Stir in sour cream; heat until hot. Serve over noodles.
