Dovetailing Tips: This week we are keeping the oven off and using lots of great dishes for hot days! These tips will help you save tons of time so you can enjoy the summer evenings with a great meal!
Today just handle the onions for the whole week. Slice 1 for Friday and chop 1 for Thursday and you won't have to cry over those again this week. Just put them in a plastic bag in the fridge. To make it really simple label with bag with the day they are to be used.
Dovetailing Tips: Today you can make some major strides. As long as you are browning ground beef do 2 extra pounds so they are ready for the Macaroni Casserole on Thursday. This will safe you serious time. Also grate an extra 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese for tomorrow and go ahead and slice 3 tablespoons of extra green onions for tomorrow while you have them out. You will be using a lot of lettuce this week in the wonderful salads so plan ahead and wash and chop that for Wednesday and Friday and you are well on your way to enjoying this whole week's menu!
Dovetailing Tips: Today use the rest of the green onions and the ground beef. You will be way ahead if you already browned that!
When you are preparing the strawberries for your shortcake go ahead and wash and cut plenty of extra because you will love eating them tomorrow covered in the fudge sauce!
