7-Minute Supper
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, browned1/3 cup long-cooking rice, uncooked
1 (1-ounce) package onion gravy mix
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 cups water
1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
1 (5-ounce) can water chestnut
1 (2.8-ounce) can French-fried onions
soy sauce to taste
Add beef, rice, gravy mix, garlic salt and water to a 12" skillet bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in peas and water chestnuts simmer until rice is tender. Remove from heat toss in onions. Season with soy sauce before serving.
