Dovetailing Tips: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Onions are the all-stars of dovetailing this week. We have three recipes calling for onions this week. Two call for "onion" and I generally prefer to use yellow onions in this case. One calls for "white onion". We will be dovetailing onions today so decide if you want to use the same kind for all three recipes or follow the recipes more strictly. If you choose to do all the recipes with yellow onions then you will want to chop about 5 medium onions today (1 medium onion equals about 1/2 cup once chopped). If you choose to do only the two yellow onion recipes then you will want to chop 2 medium onions today and you can chop the cup and a half of white today or Friday. Hopefully, that all makes sense and you enjoy all the recipes regardless of your choice of onion!
