Weekly shopping tips:
- Several ingredients are common throughout this week's menu, so buy in bulk!
- Buy about 2 1/2 lbs of flank steak
- Buy about 2 lbs. of mahi mahi
- Buy lettuce and kimchi to eat with beef bulgogi
Monday
Dovetailing Tips:
- Use only half the flank steak, put extra in freezer to be used on Friday
- Put extra corn in fridge/ freezer to be used on Wed.
Tuesday
- Grilled Mahi Mahi & Asparagus with Lemon Butter
- Cherry Tomato Salad with Buttermilk Basil Dressing
- Perfect Chocolate Brownies
Dovetailing Tips:
- Grill all the mahi mahi today, reserve extra for fish tacos tomorrow
Wednesday
Dovetailing Tips:
- Use extra mahi mahi in your fish tacos
- Go ahead and mix together the baguette recipe and keep in fridge to bake off tomorrow
Thursday
Dovetailing Tips:
- Bake off your baguette dough tonight- Remove the dough from the fridge a few hours early so the dough can warm up and rise prior to baking
Friday
Dovetailing Tips:
- Beef Bulgogi can be served in wrapped lettuce with kimchi, because kimchi can be spicy, serve the orange granita as a drink to help offset the spice.
