This week we have a few recipes for you focused on your New Year's celebrations. I know that some people like to do big dinners for New Years Day, so we have a recipe for a Beef Pot Roast and a Cuban-Style Pork Roast. There's a couple of sides to go along with either of them, or to go with a wide variety of meals.

Also this week, we have a couple a couple of quick dinners that you can make in 30 minutes or less with a Shrimp and Couscous dish and a Spicy Pasta. If you like it less spicy, you can always use less then the called for amount of red pepper. Many supermarkets with have shrimp on sale for New Years, so this is a good week to grab some extra to have on hand in the freezer and for the shrimp dish this week.

My favorite party snack is Buffalo Wings, and for those of you like me who celebrate New Years by enjoying a football game or two (or don't like football but love chicken wings) we have a good wing recipe here that is baked and still moist and flavorful. As with the pasta, if you like more heat or less heat, you can tone it to your liking!

Finally, we have a couple of recipes for dessert, and both of these are chosen with thought to quantity (you can make a large quantity of both without it taking any more time than the others!) in mind if you have to take dessert to a party or if you have to make some for you a party that you are hosting. Both of the recipes call for chocolate that you can buy and prepare all at the same time if you choose to do both.
