Swedish Meatball Sauce


Serves: 4

In England, swedish meatballs are very available and cheap. They are very good with the following cream sauce and boiled potatoes.

Yield: about 1 cup sauce

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cream
1 cup beef stock base
1 tablespoon soy sauce, to taste
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
salt, to taste
white pepper, to taste

Directions:

Bring the beef stock to a boil.

Add the cream.

Mix the cornstarch with approx 2 tablespoon of water. Add to the beef stock mixture.

Add the seasonings.

Simmer until the sauce thickens.

Serve with Swedish meatballs.
