Is Food Your Love Language?
When you're the head of the Cook'n Family...ya gotta have a toy kitchen set, right? Kathy got this for our two grandbabies; Juliet (18 months) and Evan (11 months).
She wasn't home when Evan first saw it so I had to video it for her...
Kathy was very happy to see that the grand babies have the Cook'n spirit! In fact, she was so excited that she went on to purchase a few additional accessories for the toy kitchen like...
Wooden Play Eggs
Food is our love language! It's part of our family heritage. My Grandma (my Mom's mom) lived with us when I was a kid and she was always cooking up something yummy for us. She is 100% Polish and made some of the best Polish food you've ever tasted. She was expert in making delicious noodles.
She said that goose eggs were the best eggs to use when making homemade noodles. So, when she fell seriously ill, my sister Kim and I left Utah and went back to visit her in Michigan. I collected the eggs from the geese Kathy and I were raising at the time, carried them on the airplane (carefully of course!), and brought them to Babcia so she could make homemade noodles.
She was so happy to see us! And, she was tickled pink to see that we carried home grown goose eggs on the airplane for her. So, after we left, she made a big batch of noodles with the eggs and mailed them to us.
But, she passed away shortly after that and we never could bring ourselves to eat those noodles. They were just too precious to us. That was 30 years ago and we still have Babcia's noodles made from goose eggs!
We hope that Cook'n is helping you to preserve your family favorite recipes and memories. If food is your love language, Cook'n is your Love Repository! Congratulations for keeping those recipes stored in Cook'n. They're going to be super precious to your kids one day!
Speaking of family...since we're on the topic 😂, nephew Kalani won another game last week in a miraculous fashion! The Cougars took the lead with only 10 seconds to go in the game!
Fine. I’ll do it myself.@gregwrubell’s call of the game-winning touchdown: ⬇️#BYU | #GoCougs 🤙 https://t.co/tvuE1Ldg7P pic.twitter.com/1V7IfeEAwz

As you can tell from this video, winning this game was nothing short of a miracle! The #11 BYU Cougars are 7 and 0 now! Woohoo!! As I mentioned in a recent newsletter article, now they REALLY need to avoid pride!
My brother Brian went to the game. This is the video he shot at the start of the 4th quarter which included Cosmo on top of the Jumbotron, fire dancers, fireworks, and a drone show! It was a party in Provo! Epic!

The next game is in Orlando, Florida which is Kathy's home town. We're thinking of flying there for the weekend so we can visit her family and see the game. But...I'm just not sure. I have a lot of work to do. We'll see. In any case, GO COUGS!!!
