Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground sausage
1 whole egg
2 slices torn bread
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 tablespoon parsley
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce

Directions:

In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Mix well with hands. Place into a loaf and place on a rack or tin foil ring. Cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.

Tip: Fold a 20 inch long piece of foil in half lengthwise. Place in the bottom of the Crockpot with the ends hanging over the edge of the cooker. This will make the meatloaf easy to remove.

Set the meatloaf on a small rack or tin foil ring to keep the meatloaf out of the fat.
