Trout in Foil

Ingredients

6 whole trout, cleaned
lemon pepper seasoning
1 lemon, thinly sliced
3 slices bacon, halved
1 onion, thinly sliced
3 medium potatoes, scrubbed and thinly sliced
3 carrots, pared and thinly sliced

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. You will need 6 sheets of heavy-duty foil (each 4 inches longer than the trout). Lay trout on sheet of foil. Sprinkle lemon pepper the length of the cavity and line with lemon slices. Close cavity and top trout with a half slice of bacon. Top with onion, potato, and carrot slices; seal foil securely. Put foil-wrapped trout on a baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes; turn and bake 10 minutes longer (small trout less time, large trout more time).
