Remove shells and devein the shrimp. Cut the bacon into short quarter pieces. Wrap a shrimp with a short bacon slice and skewer the wrapped shrimp onto a skewer so that the skewer holds the bacon wrapped around the shrimp and the curve of the shrimp will lay flat on the lid. Place 3 bacon wrapped shrimp onto each skewer. Repeat until all the shrimp and bacon are used up. Season with black pepper or peppers and juice. If using peppers and juice place shrimp skewers into a one gallon zip-lock bag and pour the peppers and juice into the bag and marinate 5 to 10 minutes.
Preheat 2 Dutch ovens and their lids to fry the skewers over medium high heat, using a solid layer of briquettes under the oven and lid. Fry skewers on the lid or in the ovens for 3 to 4 minutes on the first side and 2 to 3 minutes on the second side. Serve hot.
