Place tea bags in a 4-cup heatproof bowl add boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, add sugar and stir until dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
In a pitcher, combine cooled tea, lemon juice and orange juice.
Just before serving, add ginger ale stir once to combine mixture. Pour into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with lemon and orange slices and fresh mint if desired.
