Mix 1 cup flour with confectioners' sugar, add melted butter or margarine and press evenly into bottom of an 8-inch square pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 325°. Beat eggs, add granulated sugar and lemon juice, then 2 tablespoons flour, baking powder and salt. Beat together well and pour over crust. Bake about 30 minutes at 325°, then turn to 350° for last 5 minutes to give crust a delicate brown color.
To serve, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and cut in squares.
