Serves: 0
Instructions:
1. Tint small amounts of dough to make the following colors. Only a small amount of food color is required.
yellow = lemon
red + blue = lavender
blue + yellow = green
blue + smaller amount of yellow = aqua
red = pink
red + yellow = apricot
Store in plastic bags until ready to use.
2. Roll out the pink sugar dough to 1/8 " thickness and press into a small glass bowl. Allow to dry partially for a few hours, then remove from bowl and allow to dry completely on waxed paper. Usually one day's drying time is sufficient.
3. Roll out each color of dough as you use it. Use aspic or cookie cutters or a small sharp pointed knife to cut shapes. Roll little spheres in your hands for flower centers. Allow pieces to dry on waxed paper overnight.
4. Glue decorative pieces to outside of sugar bowl allow to dry. Line with a doily, if you wish, and fill with candy.
Note: If you wish to put fresh flowers in your sugar dough bowl, build it around a glass container and leave the container in after the bowl has dried.
