In a Dutch oven, melt butter, add rice, onions, mushrooms, and garlic, sauté until lightly browned. Add broth, poultry seasoning, and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally until rice is tender. Add pecans just before serving.
