Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients

3 pounds boneless pork loin, cut into 2' strips
3 teaspoons paprika
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
2 onions, thinly sliced
2 green bell peppers, cut in strips
2 tablespoons brown sugar
6 tablespoons dry milk powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 chicken bouillon cubes, crushed
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 (6 3/4-ounce) cans pineapple chunks, reserve syrup

Directions:

Sprinkle pork pieces with paprika. Heat shortening in skillet. Saute pork and discard fat. Place meat in removable crockpot liner. Add onion and pepper. Combine next four ingredients in bowl then add vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and 1 1/3 cup pineapple liquid. (Add water if necessary.) Pour entire mixture into removable liner. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on LOW low 8-9 hours, HIGH 4-5 hours or AUTO 6 hours. During last 1/2 hour, add pineapple. Serve over rice.
