1. Place the peanut butter in a medium-size saucepan and slowly stir in the water. Cook the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring constantly with a whisk, until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens.
2. Stir in the vinegar and garlic, and remove the pan from the heat. Add the salt and cayenne pepper and mix well. For a quick and hearty meal, serve with steamed vegetables over a bed of rice, whole-grain pasta, millet, or quinoa.
