In large saucepan heat oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add ground sausage and fry till sausage is browned. Add broth, lentils, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, pepper, cumin and bay leaf. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add carrot, celery and spinach. Bring to a boil then lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. This soup tends to get too thick and spicy so add water to get the desired consistency and flavor.
