Yield: 1 Pound Spicy Olives
1. Place all of the marinade ingredients in a small saucepan, and heat just to the boiling point. Remove from the heat, cover, and set aside for 30 minutes.
2. Place the olives in a colander and rinse well. Pat the olives dry and set aside.
3. Pour the warm marinade into a clean 11/2-quart glass jar. Add the seasonings, cover, and shake well. Add the olives, and shake again.
4. Allow the olives to marinate at room temperature for 5 hours. Refrigerate if not serving immediately. If kept refrigerated, marinated olives will keep for about a month. Bring to room temperature and drain off the marinade before serving.
