Arrange one-third of lettuce in a large bowl. Top with one-third each of the onions, frozen peas, eggs and bacon bits. Repeat layering twice. Spoon mayonnaise completely over top; sprinkle with Parmesan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Tip: Keep ’em cool! Fill a large galvanized tub with ice, then nestle serving bowls of cold foods in the ice. Everyone can help themselves!
