Thaw dough and allow to rise according to package instructions. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. Add 5 drops of each color of food coloring to the dough: one part red, one blue, one purple. Knead well and then let dough rest on a floured baking sheet. Divide each ball of dough into 2 pieces. Flatten it out until it’s about 8 inches long, then stack the pieces on top of each other, alternating the colors. Fold ends of dough into the middle. Place dough in an 8"x4" loaf pan that’s been sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray. Let dough rest again for about an hour, until it rises an inch or so above the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and allow to cool before slicing.
Tip: Make “apple smiles” with your little ones! Cut washed apples into eight wedges. Spread peanut butter on one side of each slice. Place mini marshmallows on the peanut butter for teeth. Place another peanut-buttered apple slice on top so the peel sides match and the marshmallows are sandwiched between apples.
